The following Order of President of India, G.S.R 590(E), dated: the 9th June, 2016 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-Section (i) is republished:
THE ANDHRA PRADESH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (REGULATION OF ADMISSIONS) AMENDMENT ORDER-2016.
ORDER
G.S.R.590(E)- In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (1) and (2) of article 371 D of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order,1974, namely:-1. (1) This Order may be called the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Amendment Order, 2016.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order,1974, in paragraph 4 after sub –paragraph (2) and before the Explanation, the following sub-paragraph shall be inserted, namely:-
“ (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-paragraph (1) or (2), a candidate who migrates to any part of the State of Andhra Pradesh from the State of Telangana within a period of three years from the 2nd day of June, 2014 shall be regarded as the local candidate in the State of Andhra Pradesh at the place of his residence and be treated at par with the local candidates residing in that area, in accordance with such guidelines as may be issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the purpose of education.”
